Seems like Chris Blair is really catching on to missing calls too.

To be fair, that ball looked gone off the bat and hit pretty high up on the wall and bounced hard

So this is Blair’s first mistake in what... 4-5 years?

I don’t really care. I just think it’s funny that so many people bitched about Hawthorne and how blind he was yet Blair does it and no one cares. Some people just like to bitch I guess.

Chris Blair is a total professional. He has a great voice and shows enthusiasm when warranted and refrains from theatrics when none is warranted. Listen to guys who treat a run yard rushing attempt like the guy is breaking a long run.

All announcers miss calls. Sometimes it's because the other team make a play out of nowhere like a miraculous diving catch that robs a hit. Other times it's just an error.

I literally thought the ball was gone too. Even after watching replay. Never saw it hit the wall, but I saw the fielder field it.

I tuned in on the radio to check the score and he went 15 minutes without saying. Talked about runners on base and outs etc. Geez I was getting pissed. That's my bitch for the day.

I guarantee, 98% of the people in the Box thought that ball was gone, including Watson who would have been two bases away from being doubled up if it was caught. It exploded off the bat but died in air late.

Exactly right. I was at the game and you couldn't tell it stayed in until the outfielder fielded the ball.

It hit on the white part of the outfield advertisement so you couldn't tell it bounced off.
