The novel was a collaboration between Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.
While they did some work on the sequel/2nd novel, it never got that far along and Terry Pratchett has since passed away.

They did incorporated some of the sequel elements into the series though. But unless Gaiman wants to write a sequel, this will be it sadly.
