Appt went well, they did a couple eye test, lasted about an hour, I am a candidate!...super stoked!
My pre-op tests are next Wednesday and then my surgery is Friday June 14th!
It’ll be $1600 per eye, $3200 total for all-laser (Bladeless) LASIK. There is something called care credit, basically a 18mo no-interest credit card that I’ll probably do, I’ll have to read more about that later. There is a cheaper option, $799 per eye but that’s standard PRK lasik with blade...not as good.
I’m very very very excited. I was actually prepared for the lens replacement $7000/eye surgery due to my farsighted astigmatism, but they told me no, LASIK is all I need.

That’s fantastic. I’m going to keep that in mind. I’m leaning that way. But I have to get a muscle realignment surgery (which is scheduled for July) then my next step is going to be surgery.
I think it’s going to be the weirdest thing once I get to a point where I don’t have to wear glasses. Something you’ve done all your life is all of the sudden gone.
