Coming down to visit the south in June should I be worried about the levels of the river? I wasn’t sure if it was high?

If you’re visiting in between the levees you may want to reschedule.

Well I’m heading the opposite to Bemidji, MN to fish Cass Lake. Headwaters of MS River or thereabouts.

If visiting Louisiana, always carry a personal flotation device. You will never know when you will need it. Louisiana could fall off into the gulf or the river will take over southeast Louisiana based on some the posts on this board.

In the event of visiting New Orleans, the PFD can be used to slow stray bullets.
