What do you wear to a job interview? A wedding? A funeral? You're best. So why not wear your best in the presence of the Almighty? If shorts are the best you have, so be it. I can't find a scripture that says to wear a coat and tie. But if earthly things like those above I mentioned get your best, God certainly should.

That my friends is religion working at it's finest. Religion is what you should do to be accepted by God.
Christianity is about what God did for you in His love, mercy, and grace through Jesus.

So you're saying that you put on your costume to try and pull a fast one on the big guy upstairs to fool him into thinking you really, really mean business? So what about the other 167 or so hours of the week? Do you think he only exists in the Church?

Americans have no respect for themselves anymore. It’s a real wonder why we have a dying culture. If people in the “traditional south” can’t even be bothered to throw on a fricking pair of pants and a collared shirt to go to church then we are screwed. I await the collapse of this once great nation.
