Cutting out everything after 2 so they have already made expectations high. Trailer did not come close to meeting those

CGI looks bad, real bad

Terminator gets beaten to a pulp on the ground removing fear of the villain

Discount Dylan Roof is one of the heros

James Cameron has once again attached his name for a paycheck

John Connor is most likely dead (rumor is he no longer matters after t2, dies in a normal way off screen)

How bad is it gonna flop?

It's one of those things theyll keep trying to get right over and over.

It can’t be worse than the last one.

I was trying to be optimistic about this one since Linda Hamilton was back and James Cameron was involved again. But that trailer gave me no reason to be. I'd like to think that they are trying not to reveal too much with the trailer and it might be and incredible movie, but I seriously doubt that is the case. I'm just cynical that it's nothing but a cash grab and they could care less about making a good Terminator movie.

To be honest - Terminator and Terminator 2 are legit. The rest is all just cash grab nonsense of varying quality.

So, my interest level is so low as to defy measurement.

Yet here I am.

(Honestly, I haven't watched anything since Terminator 3 in this franchise. That looks to continue for the foreseeable future.)

I’m sorry to disappoint anyone who likes the past movies , but to me the franchise ended after T2

Watching the original on VHS the night before then Seeing that in a movie theater when I was 12, I was blown away and have not felt the same since any of the other movies came out.

I have seen them all and will see this one eventually on redbox or hbo like I did the rest but my expectations are low.
