The majority of teams are never in the running to land a star in free agency. You aren't gonna see top 5 guys going to Sacramento, NOLA, etc. So in that respect, I think the NBA is getting worse for the majority of fanbases.
And those teams can draft well and hire good coaches and build good teams if they’re capable enough.

Does it suck when a guy like KD decides to blow a 3-1 series lead and then join the team that beat him? Of course it does.

But not all of this movement is lame af.

• Kawhi to Toronto has been a +.
• Lebron needed to gtfo of Cle and it was a + for everyone(his haters and fans).
• Paul George and those Pacers teams were fun as hell. They all got what they could out of each other and then he left and created a really fun storyline in OKC.
• Lebron going back to Cle to spend the last part of his prime winning them a trophy and also failing so his haters could rejoice was a massive +.
• Kyrie to Boston and wherever he goes from here has been interesting.
• Philly adding pieces Butler and to a lesser extent Harris was a +.
• CP3 joining Harden has been fun and CC has been VERY good since.

And there are still opportunities for some stars to stay with their team and try to build that way.

I don’t see a problem with it.
