Well you can stand there being a moron then. Durant gets hate because he does stupid unnecessary shite on social media and because he left the thunder to join the 73 win team he blew a 3-1 lead against. Neither has anything to do with Lebron.

When one results to insults, their argument is flailing.
73 wins is meaningless.

Those Cavs, healthy, were better than the Dubs pre-Durant.

quote:

You didn’t see Lebron fans hating curry in 15 and 16 when there was talk of him being better.

That’s false, it was the “no help” argument, “put him on GS”...do a search & you’ll see.

quote:

You didn’t see Lebron fans hating kawhi when he locked Lebron down in 14 better than Durant ever has.

Again, “Wade & Bosh suck”...also revisionist history.

quote:

You don’t see Lebron fans hating Giannis now that he is the likely heir apparent.

Because he’s not succeeding him, he’s succeeding the guy who succeeded LeBron. The Kingslayer if you will. That’s why he’s their next guy.

If Kawhi takes Toronto all the way-he’s getting legitimate MJ comps...as he plays more like him than anyone. Then people will start placing in all time convos, possibly calling him the player of the decade, and the hate rise again.

quote:

You think Durant only gets hated on message boards? Try turning on a tv or playing on twitter for a while.

For context, I literally said LeBron got the same kind of hate by Kobe fans, for some reason is not included in the quote you pulled.

quote:

Durant’s a weirdo that cares way too much about what other people think about him, and tries to act like a hardass when he isn’t anumything close to that. You enjoy it.

I actually don’t care about his ego, all of those guys have huge egos, are obsessed with their narratives.

Curry and Duncan are the exceptions.
I love Durant’s “frick you” attitude and how he plays basketball-& his dedication to honing his craft.

quote:

Sure, if he wanted to win championships without being recognized as THE reason for winning those championships. Which he clearly doesn’t, based on his social media behavior.

The Dubs couldn’t beat a healthy Cavs team.

He’s literally the reason it went from “slight edge healthy Cavs” to “1-8 in the Finals”

He shot 70% when LeBron James guarded him. That’s “Giannis at the rim” efficiency-essentially a layup.

He hit the Game 3 dagger from 30 ft out with James guarding him.

He did the same thing next season only James saw it coming and didn’t pick him up in transition and wanted no part.

Durant passed him up, on the court, when it mattered. First Take narratives don’t hold weight to that.

It’s on film, look it up.

quote:

Your behavior on this message board proves otherwise. Not only do you hate him, you’re obsessed with hating him. For a recent example, see your complete lie about lillard facing more all-nba players in this year’s playoffs than Lebron did the whole time he was in the east.

No, I’m obsessed with the truth.

Giving Lillard props, that tidbit was used for context how tough the West is. If you detract that the East was easy, then it’s a bonus.

I think LeBron is great, just not as great as his hype, all timer no question. When he loses, more often than he wins are his fans Full of excuses? No question.

2017 Finals:
KD - 35/8/5 on 56%
LeBron - 34/12/10 on 56%

2018 Finals:
KD - 29/11/7.5 on 52.6%
LeBron - 34/8.5/10 on 52.7%

KD hasn't surpassed shite. He just joined an all-time great team.

They’re only insults if they aren’t true.

quote:

73 wins is meaningless.

Yea, something that’s never been done in history is meaningless. Remember when I correctly pointed you were a moron? Good times.

quote:

Those Cavs, healthy, were better than the Dubs pre-Durant

They were literally 1 game away from a 4-1 win, and as it was the series played out as closely as it could have.

quote:

That’s false, it was the “no help” argument, “put him on GS”...do a search & you’ll see.

You’re crying because Lebron fans are saying mean things about Durant because they’re threatened by him.

What does correctly pointing out that Lebron has less help have to do with curry?

quote:

Again, “Wade & Bosh suck”...also revisionist history.

You’re crying because Lebron fans are saying mean things about Durant because they’re threatened by him.

What does correctly pointing out that wade and bosh played poorly have to do with kawhi?

quote:

Because he’s not succeeding him, he’s succeeding the guy who succeeded LeBron.

There is no guy that’s succeeded Lebron.

Also, you just said it’s not definite that Lebron was the best player of his generation. If that’s true then what is he being succeeded from?

quote:

If Kawhi takes Toronto all the way-he’s getting legitimate MJ comps...as he plays more like him than anyone. Then people will start placing in all time convos, possibly calling him the player of the decade, and the hate rise again.

Just do we’re clear, you’re saying Lebron fans will hate kawhi if the raptors win the title this year? Please say yes.

quote:

For context, I literally said LeBron got the same kind of hate by Kobe fans, for some reason is not included in the quote you pulled.

I didn’t respond because no response Dr was necessary. it’s true.

What does Kobe fans hating Lebron have to do with the fact that Durant gets hate from more than just message boards?

quote:

I actually don’t care about his ego

And yet everytime he does something stupid because of his ego, you’re on here defending him and/or interjecting Lebron into a discussion that had nothing to do with him.

quote:

The Dubs couldn’t beat a healthy Cavs team.

And you know that because of one 7 game series that was decided in the final minute?

quote:

He’s literally the reason it went from “slight edge healthy Cavs” to “1-8 in the Finals”

Really? Kevin Durant is the reason jr Smith is a dumbass? Kevin Durant is the reason Kyrie ended up in Boston? Explain both of those.

quote:

He shot 70% when LeBron James guarded him

I have no idea if this stat is true or not, and given your propensity for just straight up lying when it comes to both players involved, I don’t believe you.

quote:

He hit the Game 3 dagger from 30 ft out with James guarding him.

So Damian lillard is better than Paul George, right?

quote:

He did the same thing next season only James saw it coming and didn’t pick him up in transition and wanted no part.

I believe my previous post referenced you being obsessed with this.

quote:

Durant passed him up, on the court, when it mattered.

Durant passed him up on the court this year, for the first time. You thinking Durant hitting a 30 ft shot means he passed up Lebron on the court is retarded, which falls in line with the rest of your logic. And you placing do much emphasis on that actually detracts from his overall performance.

quote:

No, I’m obsessed with the truth.

I find that hard to believe given you rarely, if ever, post the truth.

quote:

Giving Lillard props, that tidbit was used for context how tough the West is.

Except the tidbit was a lie, not the truth you claim to be obsessed with.

quote:

If you detract that the East was easy, then it’s a bonus.

Lillard does not play in the east and has never faced an eastern conference team in the playoffs.

Why do you need to say anything about the east to make lillard look good?

And why do you need to talk about Lebron if you want to point out the east wasn’t as good as the west?

You want an actual truth? In the 2011-2018 time frame you mentioned, Lebron has won 40% of his playoff games against the west. Lillard has won 37%.

quote:

I think LeBron is great, just not as great as his hype

You’re right. If anything he’s better. He’s exceeded the expectations he had coming into the league.

quote:

When he loses, more often than he wins are his fans Full of excuses? No question.

Maybe that has something to do with his detractors holding his lack of championships from his first cavs stint against him, when he was literally only good player in the team.

Or holding the 2015 finals against him, when his second best player was Matthew Dellavedova.

No other players has had such unreal expectations placed on him.
