Anguilla has the best overall food in my opinion of the 10-12 Islands I’ve been too. From roadside BBQ to high end. As a bonus, it also world class beaches.
Have also heard St. Barths, but never been.

Fully agree!!! Also, like much of the Caribbean, I think they have 'peas and rice' there, similar to Belize. The dish is similar to a dry red beans and rice. BBQ chicken quarter, peas/rice + hot sauce and a cold beer!
Anyway, the premier hot sauce in the Caribbean is basically a thin slush/salsa of Scotch-Bonnet peppers that is bottled by a few companies. I can't get enough of that stuff, and I am almost out of the two bottles I brought back from Curacao last September. I think that brand is from Trinadad/Tobago.
