I can agree that Tiger was overhyped in terms of being "back". But the award isn't a big deal. Presidents have been giving those out like candy for years. You know who else has one?
John Wayne, Kirk Douglas, Meryl Streep, Steven Spielberg, Robert Redford, Robert De Niro, Tom Hanks, Gloria Estefan, Barbara Streisand, Diana Ross, Bruce Springsteen, Lorne Michaels, and Ellen.
Is Tiger Woods not on this level of celebrity?
I mean c'mon. The overreaction to him getting that award is a little much. It's not exactly the most exclusive club. Barack Obama gave out 123 of them.

Yeah the people bitching are either pure Tiger haters or too ignorant to know what that award is and who has recieved it over the years
