Their is a massive scam in the medical field and the R&D sectors of big Pharm and Academia in general. It is true what others have said in that the cost off R&D on these drugs is massive. The question is why? The fact is that aspect does not need to be that high and I worked in that area, so I know what I am taking about. When there is massive markups of sometimes 1000% on every step, then the price will stay high.

Still, places like Canada and Mexico as well as Europe should not be getting discounts.
