We’d still send hundreds of millions on research at NIH while drug companies would simultaneously spend more in their research divisions. The end result being even higher drug costs.

I don’t have a problem with Katie Hill asking for them to explain their drug valuation when taking into account government funded resources. That’s a legitimate question.

Roy is right too. They’re a business that creates lifesaving drugs but they’re also a business. Instead of grandstanding on how evil these companies are for making $2,100/mo. drugs, Democrats’ questions should sound more like Cummings thinks they sound in his fantasy world. One simple question would work. “How much did you company spend to develop this drug?”

If Rep. Hill is upset regarding CEO salaries, my advice is the same to anyone who is upset over another person’s salary, find out what path they took and follow it. Maybe you can be that successful too one day.
