The Ole Miss loss today locks us into the #5 spot. I hope the Tigers are starting to get hot for Hoover.

Yep, I like that 5 much better. I really don't want to tangle with Florida.

Mike Bianco has been just slightly above average in his stint at Old Mississippi. Thank God he is there and not here at LSU.

I don’t want to make that 5 hour drive just for them to 0-1, so fingers crossed

Ole Miss loses games in May

LSU wins games in May

It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.

Bianco is 0-6 since the 10 inning win against us.

You're crazy. LSU is playing for 40 wins overall and a SEC Tournament Title and as best as possible with regards to regionals.

I completely disagree. They have alot to play for tomorrow.
This team needs to keep improving and gaining confidence. Plus, a sweep looks much better on the resume.

LSU has nothing to play for tomorrow? You do know they need 18 sec wins to lock a regional in Baton Rouge?

That’s absolutely false.

Better to lock up hosting with win tomorrow.

It is absolutely false. LSU can lose tomorrow and still host.

Maybe not “lock up” but like 90% would be about right.

They just said a sweep would guarantee a regional host during the post presser. So there's that...

He said “lock up”. Yes they can lose tomorrow and still host. Lose the next 2 and you’re relying more on what other teams do in order to host. Win tomorrow and it’s all but locked up. I’d rather not give the committee much of a choice. They didn’t do us any favors last year, why would they this year. Plus if they continue to win they’re playing for a higher seed. We don’t want a super regional matchup with UCLA.

LSU can easily get 18 wins in the SEC Tournament. What's more important is being ready for Tuesday/Wednesday. Beating Auburn or the #12 seed in the SEC Tournament isn't going to convince the committee. They're either hosting or not, beating Miss St on Wednesday will do a lot more.

Plz just give us Cole Henry. I want Jaedan Hill too, but plz allow the baseball gods to give us 1 more stud for postseason. That’s slightly all we ask as of now...

Edit: Eric Walker is pitching well, marceaux is on the rise, and Henry might be back. That gives us 4-5 arms that can start and/or pitch multiple innings. (It includes Hess and Hilliard).

Boys... lets not give up on this team even though it’s been a rough year. We have the talent.
