Point me to a thread you started in which you complained about Foreign Aid , unfair trade deals and protectionism.

I can easily find a hundred threads you started in which you complain about retaliatory tariffs.

I will pass on the continuation of a subservient relationship.

How big of a mistake would it be to let this trade war go so far that US companies have no access at all to a quarter of the world's population??

Of which roughly 10% have buying power. However, due to regulations and restrictions placed on their consumers by their government, most of that 10% will never be afforded the opportunity to purchase US made goods anyway. China as a market for our manufactured products is a pipedream. Even the service industry is pretty pointless. Hell, if GOOGLE couldn't make it there due to communist interventions, why do have any confidence at all that things will magically get better? I just don't get your love affair with the Chinese.

You really have issues with reading comphension issues if you think I have ever supported protectionist tariffs, foreign aid and tariffs on the citizens.

I think you missed the point.

The USA has asked the world to boycott Iran. We have even made trade in dollars with Iran virtually impossible. It is the center piece now of our "aggressive" response to the Iran's commitment to obtaining a nuclear arsenal.

The Chinese were cooperating. Now they are not.

What do you want Bolton to do?

All he really can do is pout short of war.

And most of this list is being replicated. Hell, they don't just have knock off Apple products, they have knock off Apple stores. Let me know how the lawsuit goes in China. Of your list, ONLY Boeing seems to have escaped the onslaught...for now. You are fooling yourself if your argument depends on this list.

How bad does it suck for you to know that no matter how much you try to sell us all on the fact that Donald Trump's economic policies are bad for the United States of America, that none of us actually believe you?

You are a fricking skyscreaming joke! A failed Chinese bot trying to undermine us.

Go back to your masters, and bow and scrape as you try to mitigate your failures as they contemplate the most expedient method for your "suicide."

You fricking joke.

Did I say the income tax reductions were bad for the economy?

Did I ever give you the opinion that I expected you to understand the economics of anything?? If I did I am sorry because I never held it against you and others that you are economically illiterate. Most of you actually believe that higher cost goods and services through tariffs are good for Americans and the American economy!!

Do you know how Alan Greenspan is?? Well he said this just this past week.

quote:

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said the tit-for-tat trade war Opens a New Window. between the U.S. and China Opens a New Window. is a “terrible idea on both sides.”

“Remember what a tariff Opens a New Window. is -- it's an excise tax,” he told FOX Business’ Maria Baritromo on Thursday. “Excise taxes when they are imposed are the same as any tax -- they withdraw purchasing power from an economy.”

“So if you have two industrial giants, both taking on severe levels of that type of analysis, in other words having a great deal of loss of purchasing power, it’s not good for either one… there is a winner in the fight. But both sides lose. So the winner is the one who loses the least.”

SANDERS, OCASIO-CORTEZ SOCIALIST AGENDA CONCERNS ALAN GREENSPAN

President Trump has blasted China for unfair trade practices, including intellectual property theft. Greenspan said this is where “he happens to be correct.”

“I remember that when we first dealt with the Chinese,” he said, “We essentially had a significant number of places where we could build plants provided we made the technology available to the Chinese partner who was made part of us as a condition of coming in. And then what would happen is they'd build the plant. And then they'd build another plant, which they had a hundred percent ownership, and the issue of intellectual property is really an issue. The rest of it is not.”

Greenspan, in regards to the military buildup and Huawei technology, warned that it could ultimately end with a nuclear conflict.

“Well, the issue is that you're always left with the issue of where you end it. And at the end of it, it's a nuclear confrontation,” he said. “And neither side on all the countries which have nuclear capacity have chosen not to get up to that edge. The only way to cause a problem is you do it inadvertently and that can happen.”

The U.S., last week, hiked tariffs on $250 billion of Chinese goods from 10 to 25 percent. But Greenspan warned that “people do not understand what tariffs are.”

“They are attacks and they are attacks on the country which implements them,” he added
