That is a terrible strategy ,and anyone who thinks that will work is an idiot. All they are doing is bringing more attention to voices that they disagree with, people will seek other sources to watch their content, and you will make people dig in more. When you think you have to censor countering points of view ,because you can't make a coherent argument in what you are advocating for (socialism) than maybe it is time to reexamine your ideology. Problem is socialist are not rational logical thinkers, to them the end always justifies the means, and they are willing to disregard any facts that is in conflict with their world view. Again these Silicon Valley tech giants who think that censorship on their platform/publishing will work are in for a rude awakening.
