Ah the ole sanctimonious morality argument. Never mind the morality issue of forcing rape victims to bear a child. Or forcing a young mother into raising a child because she made a mistake at age 14 or even 18.

We could go back and forth on that subject all day. But I don’t have the time or the patience. We will never agree with one another so no point in debating.

Or the legal implications that extend beyond abortion.

Do we now need to start child support at the point a fetal heartbeat is recognized? It’s now a protected life that has rights per some of these laws being passed, even very early in conception.

Once there’s a fetal heartbeat does that mean it’s a protected life and we cannot longer deport the mother (becomes an anchor baby)?

She could put the child up for adoption.

Adoptions are insanely expensive in the U.S. (average 20-50k). Have to wonder if part of that is because it is easier now to get an abortion than keep the pregnancy and put the child up for adoption.
