I keep reading people's posts on here and it really does seem like people want Miles to be here.. How in the hell could anyone not like the direction the program is going right now? We are elite talent on a national scale in recruiting, we finished top 10 in the nation last year, and we return most of the team, we are not playing down to our opponents; which was a Les Miles staple, we are actually making changes on offense instead of just talking about it, he is letting his staff coach instead of just talking about it and getting in the way, we have more analysts and former players hanging around the program, we are having more players stay their junior year instead of going too early in the draft, we are getting key transfers that have been key for us in our weaknesses, and coach O is more transparent with the team and easier to listen to than Miles was with his How could one want to go back to that? Quit looking at the wins/ losses and actually see how much better we are lately. Orgeron is not perfect, but he's making the right decision to make us a powerful football team again. Les Miles would have been more toss dives and running up the middle/ throwing up the middle. Try to enjoy who we have and support the team

Wouldn't mind having Les mixed with another coaches X's and O's.

This is how people sound when they go to any lengths to win arguments on the internet. No self awareness.

I fully expect this thread to be 25+ pages with the same 6 or 7 guys going back and forth after page 3.

That is the failure of Les. He has no imagination at all to put scheme present day defensive minds but he won’t change.

Yes. I mean Coach O is awesome, but we need to start seeing some Les Miles results like winning championships.

Lol. Yep. Goldrush will be leading the way, and lunchbox will definitely make an appearance in support of miles and in hate of O.

I think the deal is, we fired Miles because we wanted something better and people are arguing over whether we actually accomplished that. The Pro-O crowd is cutting down Mile’s accomplishments because it makes Orgeron look better and they can claim he deserved the job. The Anti-O people are not letting the other side rewrite history so they’re bolstering MIles. I don’t think anybody actually wants Miles back. They just don’t. want the goal posts moved.

I want to know why there's such a concerted effort from some to control other people's thoughts?

Why isn't it enough for you that you're excited for the direction of the team?

I’d prefer neither miles or O be in charge.

No, but I don’t think we upgraded with Orgeron. I don’t think we will improve until we get a quality coach. If you would have phrased the question Do you want Saban back, overwhelmingly the answer would be yes.

This is a pretty good comprehensive overview of the situation imho

I don’t want Miles back but it does bother me when people shite on his time here to make the last two years seem better than they have been. It’s possible to be pretty excited about the current direction of the program without tearing down its most successful coach ever

I loved Les. He was great ambassador of LSU. But it was past time for a change. No under no circumstances do I wish Les was still coach.
