In Grand Isle right now. We caught 78 this morning on live shrimp, we were done by 10am. Good looking water but wind started to pick up.
Launched out of Sand Dollar and went East.

I'll be fishing ABC Thursday & Friday
Have not fished that one in 3-4 years. used to take customers down there for it. The "entertaining" almost killed me.

True, my group has struggled to get up in fish after a massive barrel aged stout bottle share but you are thinking of a different group. We aren't in the pavilion, we on the beach.

Probably going to go Monday in a kayak. Have never fished in a kayak in Grand Isle. Anyone know some good places to fish out of a kayak in Grand Isle?

There’s a yak launch next to the DWF compound on the Bay side. Right next to the Queen B gated development

In my experience ... your best chance of catching is launching on the side of hwy 1 between the new bridge and grand isle ... however, you have to be careful since some of the land is private. But the few times I have gone there, I have done pretty well. Worse comes to worse launching off the road into Elmer’s island might not be a bad idea either.

I’m guessing that will put you near the rocks on the bay side... sounds like that could be aproductive spot as well.
