The food here in Boulder doesn't compare to the food in Louisiana. There is a place in Denver called Bayou Bobs that has some pretty legit Louisiana cuisine. The owner is from NOLA.

I think in general food options overall are much better across the country...but I find food in South louisiana has a seasoning of its own that is hard to duplicate elsewhere....

Did that guy write a cookbook? I think I used to have a cookbook written by a Louisianian in Colorado.

When we were there, the chef of Sassafras in Denver was from SELA.

BR's Lebanese scene is criminally underrated. I've been to many cities who can't come close to matching what BR has for Lebanese food.

I crave that shite all the time.
