I said the same thing last season and LSU ended up having one of the best OOC SOS's in the country. Thus, I'll trust Wade this season.

I still would like to see a "big" home game in December to generate fan interest going into SEC play. But those games are relatively hard to schedule

To me, that's a great schedule.

Liberty returns all but a role player and their 3rd leading scorer/best shooter. This is a team that won an NCAA tourney game

VCU lost to a team that should have beaten Duke in the tourney. VCU's almost entire team is coming back and many will be Seniors. These are guys Wade knows and recruited. It's going to be an intense game.

USC, as mentioned, is bringing in talent. Sure they haven't been great and their coach sucks, but when you have talent you always have a chance to win...and it's at USC.

ETSU is in a great mid-major conference and finished tied 3rd. They had the same record as Furman. They're a quality mid-major and again, will provide a decent NET for us. ETSU will be PACKED with Juniors and Seniors. I expect them to win the Southern conference next year.

Point is, this schedule is very very much shaping up to be like last year. I don't think it's different at all. There are many sneaky good teams in there and it will help our NET
