My renters sure are paying mine! At some level, arguing the semantics of whether those costs are passed on seems a bit pointless though ?????

There’s no way you can raise your rent as fast as taxes and insurance rates are moving.

I had rental property for 5 years in NOLA and finally sold them all about 3 years ago because rents were staying the same but taxes, insurance and maintenance kept going up. My margins just didn’t make sense so I cashed out and glad I did. I did very well and I’m much happier and stress free.
