St. Rosalie in Harvey has an elevated pedestrian walkway over Second Ave. and Second Ave. is anything BUT a thoroughfare unlike Carrollton and Banks with its traffic light camera in one direction and people speeding through it in the others.

shite, they should be fricking thankful for this so traffic does not have to sit there waiting for hundreds of boys to cross every 45 or so minutes.

Xavier University just completed one from one side of Drexel Drive (Palmetto) over the canal and Washington Avenue to the parking lot on the other side.

I was gonna say this. They didn’t have the walkway and other building when I went there. Here is a pic. The horror:

The Xavier one did little to stop the constant crossings. That's a crosswalk that needs lighting. I stop every time. But once you do, you're stopped for a while.
