re: Mid City hipsters thought they could stop Jesuit from building a "bridge"

So why do the hipsters oppose an aerial walkway over Banks Street? Wouldn't that make the area more walkable?

ETA: they are afraid that it will damage the tree canopy somehow, and are also feeling slighted that Jesuit found a loophole which did not require them to go through a long and unnecessary series of public meetings just to connect two properties which they already own.
