Ranking LSU's Top 10 players in the NFL

White, Williams and Moreau have a lot of work to do in order to live up to expectations. They also have a lot of work to do crack the list of the Top 10 LSU players in the NFL.
After all, this list didn’t have room for standouts such as Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Michael Brockers, Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White, Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman La’el Collins and Carolina Panthers cornerback Donte Jackson.
10. LB Deion Jones (Falcons)
If he has a healthy season in 2019 he’ll probably be higher on next year’s list. Injuries limited him to just 6 games last season after making more than 100 tackles in each of his 2 seasons before that.
9. OL Andrew Whitworth (Rams)
He was finally rewarded in his 13th season with a trip to the Super Bowl in February. He started his career with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2006 and had 11 very good seasons before signing with the Rams. He earned his fourth Pro Bowl selection last season.
8. DB Tyrann Mathieu (Chiefs)
7. OL Trai Turner (Panthers)
6. RB Leonard Fournette (Jaguars)
5. WR Odell Beckham Jr. (Browns)
4. WR Jarvis Landry (Browns)
3. S Jamal Adams (Jets)
2. DL Danielle Hunter (Vikings)
1. CB Patrick Peterson (Cardinals)

Crazy thing is every single one of those players are legit stars, and this is leaving out some guys. We have the best quality in the NFL IMO.

Probably would be safe to switch Deion Jones and Leonard Fournette. I think Fournette will have a much better season though this year. Kwon would probably be right around 11. Crazy that Kwon Alexander who is a complete stud doesn’t even make the “Top 10”

So the two prolific, record-breaking, and Pro Bowl receivers aren’t in the top-3 but Jamal Adams is?
Yeah, okay.
Yeah, okay.

Jamal Adams may be the best safety in the league now bro...

Jamal Adams went off though. I don’t know if they are ranking by career or by current form

Stats and experience say otherwise. I’ll continue to defer to the two more proven commodities.
Nothing against Adams, but y’all seem to forget that Odell and Jarvis broke ALL-TIME records related to receptions during their first years in the league.
Jarvis did it with mediocre quarterback play and Odell didn’t exactly benefit from a declining Eli Manning.

Can’t be career or whitworth would be right behind Peterson
Posted on 5/3/19 at 9:20 am to Oilfieldbiology
That’s kind of what I was thinking? Surely Whit is gonna retire soon right?

Trust me I know all about the records and how good they are. I’m one of the biggest fans of Odell and Jarvis. I would probably put Odell ahead of Adams right now, but Jarvis I probably wouldn’t. Also I think this list is just off of current form and not career. That probably doesn’t make much sense though because I don’t think Peterson at this moment is our best player in the league anymore. Jamal has been incredible in his first 2 seasons and very well may be the best safety in the league right now. Regardless it’s great to have so many stars in the NFL that played for us.

You shut your whore mouth

Jamal IMO wasn’t just the best safety in the league last year, but the easily the best player in the entire jets team. Not that it’s hard to be the best on the jets though

Peterson is one of the best CB’s of all time, I’m just saying he’s now getting older and there are some younger guys out there who are becoming big time stars. Saying he’s not the best anymore is in no way a bad thing.

Crazy how good Danielle Hunter became. Imagine him with Arandas defense
Posted on 5/3/19 at 9:28 am to LSUdude247
Imagine him with non shite dline coaching from Chavis and Brick

Yea based on what they have done in the NFL I feel like OBJ should deco be ahead of Jarvis, but whatever

That list is awful. Tre White has had two straight seasons of being a shut down corner and is easily a top 10 guy. Jarvis ahead of Odell is bad as well.
Tier 1:
1) Pat Pete
2) Odell
Tier 2:
3) Tre White
4) Jamal Adams
5) Danielle Hunter
6) Whitworth
7) Trai Turner
Tier 3:
8) Debo
9) Jarvis
10) Mathieu
Just missed:
Fournette- Love the guy, but his injuries and uneven production have affected his status in the league. Hopefully the Jags investment in Foles and offensive line will give him more room to run
