I think the fandom is pretty divided. Not too many people are saying it's great or one of the best episodes ever. Not too many people thought it was terrible. Most think it was ok to good.

Over on Watchers on the Wall they collect the written round ups from all the big entertainment mags, blogs and newspapers. That was also pretty split. I haven't seen all of the recap videos yet but the ones I've seen all have at least some misgivings. I haven't seen any saying it was terrific and none saying it was terrible.

Personally, I thought it was just good. I don't have a problem with Arya killing the NK. That was one of my favorite theories from when Bran first gave her the VS dagger. But I found the episode fell far short of episodes like Hardhome or Battle of the Bastards. I think they just tried to go too big for the sake of going big and bit off more than they could chew.
