JV needs to figure out how to be more ready to go early. It seems he has to fire pitches in there middle and often up because he can't locate in the first inning a lot. The result has been higher pitch counts in several starts.

How sad is it that play has to be reviewed? You could tell he got him in live time. They might as well put orangutans out on the field and let them guess and they’d probably be more accurate.
