How much is the price difference and how long are you going? I'd absolutely pay 20-30 euros a night for it for 4-5 nights.
Its a vacation. I can sleep fine without AC but my wife can't. But this is vacation, a time for you to relax and enjoy it. I wouldn't risk it honestly.
