Also, I gotta go back and watch a few meets, but Arkansas outscored LSU tonight. Also Alabama just scored over a 197. Not sure how the scoring was for these meets.
Scoring is inconsistent across the board. The RQS is calculated by taking a team’s top six scores from the season, of which at least three must have been scored on the road, removing the high score, and averaging the remaining five.
We got time to turn this around but the upperclassmen have to stop having major breakdowns on events each week. Its disappointing to see what would have been a very solid 197+ team score derailed because our upperclassmen on beam can't get through a routine.

I guess one positive note is that Alyona got a chance to just soak in the PMAC atmosphere. I’m kinda happy she wasn’t used tonight. She’s clearly not ready yet.

They only have nine more meets before the SEC Championship. That means they’ll have to hit 6 out of the next 9. Is it doable? Definitely. But injuries are playing a big role.
Also, you don’t want to be outside the top 6 in NQS in order to get a decent seed at Regionals. That’s where Michigan and Alabama found themselves last year (with UCLA a lock to go through).
