I don't remember to be honest. It was different than 9/11 when everyone was callin each other and telling them to turn on their TV immediately. I do remember being pretty shocked when I heard the details of how it went down and also thinking about the Pearl Jam song Jeremy.

Yeah, Pearl Jam proved to be prophets with that song. School shootings really started just a few years after that song was released.

That was the point I was trying to make as well. Its not like 9/11. Most people....if you asked them later in the year “what was the date of Columbine shootings?” They wouldn’t be able to give you the exact date.

8th grade, I don’t remember the moment, not like 9/11... I remember that very minute on the loudspeaker. There were a ton of kids whose parents worked in the pentagon. That was a dark day.

I do remember the talk we had the next day in Civics class. It was hard to comprehend why a kid would want to shoot another kid at that age.
