Why do you think a higher octane offense is just going to score quickly? A better offense doesn't equate to a Texas Tech air raid offense or an Oregan style quick strike offense. I mean I hate to give Alabama credit for anything, but their offense is scoring tons of points, moving the ball, and it's still a traditional style offense. I think for most Tiger fans a higher octane offense is one that isn't so predictable, scores touchdowns in the red zone, and looks to get our playmakers the ball in space.

Bama's offense is not a traditional style offense anymore. It's a hybrid and has been like that for a few years.
