He's not taking fantasy down. He's trying to get sports betting to a House vote since people in the House won't allow him to do so.
It's the video poker interest that are to blame in all this. They're the ones who wanted brick and motor outlets and then decided to kill sports betting.

They still vote. The report from the conference is viewed favorably. Do they still need 2/3 from the house? If they only need 1/2, there’s a chance but I doubt it. Mack is too much of a coward to allow it to go through.

Tzimme4, I thought the house held a vote yesterday to discharge the appropriations committee and it only received 41 yes votes. Am I wrong on this?

Martiny’s bill is stuck in appropriations, but he added the entire language from his bill onto one of the 2 fantasy sports bills as an amendment. The senate approved that and the house rejected it, so that fantasy bill is now sent to a committee.

Mack is a pussy. He opposed the bill when it first got to the House Finance for sports betting. Then Marino let him add an Amendment to his tax bill and he seemed in.

He wasn’t in yesterday when all Marino wanted to do was send an updated bill solely to put sports betting to a vote (removing the tax and regulatory structure). Mack openly criticized the attempt.

If you are that money hungry just adopt the state that did the highest. 15k and 15% tax is highest I think.

Right now I think the bill has it at 18% from what I was told this morning

Wow didn’t realize they increased it again. Last I saw was 15%.

I'm not sure I could blame them.

Flooding around the Capitol. Some Congressmen can't make it there and they have a strict 6pm deadline

Great. Please keep us updated.

Next session is November or is this the only one?

I think at this point, they're waiting to the very last minute when nobody is actually paying attention or caring and hoping they just all vote yes to get the hell out of there. This is a HUGE assumption but not a bad option ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)
