I wouldn't give Abrams the same crap I gave Spectre, though. Johnson forced his hand by killing Snoke and Luke.

No doubt. Abrams really doesn’t have a choice. Spectre, for some reason, decided to retcon everything instead of laying the groundwork for movies going forward.
