Bregman and Arron Nola were sure fire big leaguers. I was surprised with DJ LeMayhew. DJ developed quite well in the minors.

No one is a sure fire big leaguer. Absolutely no one but Cabrera and Smith are just as likely as anyone to make it there

Bregman and Nola were. Bregman was obvious in his freshman year, Nola in his junior year.

51.6% of college first rounders make it to the big leagues for at least 3 years.

No one is a sure thing.

They were a great bet though and so are Cabrera and Smith
