Upper body strength means nothing for a cornerback, their legs have to be top notch. That’s where speed and power come from. A prime example is the great Fred Smoot. He couldn’t throw up 1 rep of 225 at combine but he he obviously had great legs and we see how his career turned out.

If you really believe this, then you have no credibility whatsoever.
What the hell is Rick's going to do wrap up people with his legs on a tackle??
Aside from being gay, that isn't how you tackle people, and that's not how it's taught from pee wee right on up to the NFL.
You need to have very good upper body strength to deliver hard tackles and get people on the ground.
Legs do help, but you will never make a tackle being all legs with zero upper body strength.
