Question for our resident Leftists regarding islam:

Putting aside the people who actually follow islam, what is it about the religion itself or its Prophet that make you all so quick to defend it?
Is it the fact mohammed was a brutal warmongerer?
Is it the fact he was a pedophile?
Is it the fact he owned hundreds, maybe thousands of slaves?
Is it the fact the religion itself never underwent a rebirth (ala Christianity)?
Is it the fact islams' Holy Book gives instructions on beating and sexually taking women agains their will?
Is it the fact that large swaths of islams' followers admit to holding very, very UN-modern thoughts regarding freedom of religion and speech?
Is it the fact that millions and millions of its followers hate Jews?
Is it the fact that the religion is unbelievably misogynistic in so many ways?
What is unique to islam that gives you Leftists a hard-on for defending islam, yet quickly sharting on Christianity?

Actually all we believe in is the US Constitution and the ideals behind it. That’s pretty much all.

The enemy (radical Muslims) of my enemy (Christians conversatives) is my friend.
