Uh. I think you're leaving out a pretty large part of the history of Napoleon to fit your narrative. Remember the whole getting his arse kicked and losing Paris before being exiled thing?
it's clear to me you have no understanding of history. Napoleon made several blunders that caused his army to fail, not least of which was attacking Russia in winter. This seems to be a common failing among world conquerors....
Nowhere does that insinuate cowardice or an inability to fight, as the OP suggested.
Napoleon is one of the tactical geniuses of all time, his Imperial Guard were the elite of the elite for their time. They got old and were wasted at the end. He also refused to commit (the Old Guard) in timely fashion at Waterloo, or things may have swung a different way.
Please tell me more what you think you know about France's military history, jackass.

A WWII joke went something like this: The only gear that the French used in their tanks was reverse/retreat...

Well, Jackass, your post was worded in such a way to paint Napoleon as infallible and indicative of French culture overall which couldn't be any less true. The failures of Napoleon more closely resemble that of the arrogant, sometimes cowardice, nature of the French people as a whole.
Your didn't even post to specifics of French Military history at all in your post, and yet after I did, vaguely but not inaccurately, you're questioning my understanding? You again did not post specifics to support your argument, rather opting to speak in your own vague platitudes while parroting an opinion we all learned in 6th grade social studies in regards to Napoleon's military tactics.
I'm not the one you want to go to battle with, Jackass. Save your weak attempts at intellectual discussion for someone else who doesn't mind wasting their time.

Whoa hold on there...
Are you talking to me?
Are you talking to me?
Are you talking to me?
I didn’t insinuate anything.
My comment was very clear....
I think there was a huge amount of stupidity and incompetence combined with a very little amount of water.
