Islam is a terrible ideology, though.
That won't stop Leftist "academic" types from spouting the PC nonsense sanitized version of it that they were taught in "religious studies" classes in the name of "inclusion".
Some of the most anti-Christians Leftists I've ever known will spend an hour defending Islam and pointing out its "positive attributes". They're evil people.
