The much-discussed Avengers: Endgame reissue did fine yesterday, even if it didn’t really move the needle. It earned another $1.864 million in 2,025 theaters to bring its cume up to $837.645 million. We can expect an over/under $6 million weekend, which will be enough to push it to $842 million. If it plays like the recent reissue of A Star Is Born, which earned an additional $2.88 million from a $1.55 million “opening,” we’re looking at a domestic total of over/under $11 million.

Being forced to shed those screens in China cost this movie at least $25 million in gross. At least.
