Texas had turf. Turf is terrible. It very likely contributed some to the performance, though not necessarily all that drastically, at least as far as performance goes. We lost 3 players to injury that it could be argued we're turf related, though it's also hard to say so with any real authority.

Loosing 3 key players absolutely had a significant effect. Losing your Friday night starter in the first inning is pretty killer and affected our pitching going forward. Loosing two of our top contributors also hurts offensive production.

Missouri isn't a bad team, but they aren't as good as the results would suggest. If this is a home series we probably sweep easily. We had a lot of shite luck and didn't play well on top of that. Combining that with playing away and we're lucky we didn't get swept.
