Has Tiger mentioned what happened on his approach at 18?

I've heard it mentioned he may have clipped a tree branch, but it sounded strange off the club, and Tiger's follow through really looked awkward and like he may have been trying to over-exaggerate an outside-in to fade the ball.

Strange that with all the camera shots and coverage in the tournament and the importance of that shot, there were no replays or breakdowns of what happened on that one.

He knew bogey was winning him the tournament. He was hitting an over exaggerated cut where his only miss was short right in the fairway. No chance of short siding himself, no chance of a ball plugged in the bunker.

If he needs to make par he hits a completely different shot. Put himself in a place where he makes bogey or better 99 times out of 100. It was the smart play.
