This show could have been so much more, but the bungled plot and insistence of preserving weak main characters ruined any chance of a positive review from me. Again, the premise was cool but they completely wihiffed on storyline and character development. I watched it until the bloody end.
Only 2 episodes in...and I couldn't help but think things like:
- She is living deep in the woods in hostile country...amazing that she and her dad were able to get her perfectly fitting clothes (as she has grown) with top notch synthetic materials without going to the outside world.
- The cave they were living in had a lot of finished lumber in it. I couldn't imagine how they got it there with out a vehicle, and assembled it all without a lot of supplies from the outside.
There were more questions...with a lot of plot holes, I lost interest. It's a shame because I really wanted to like this series.

I just assumed Joel Kinnaman made a lot of treks to the fringe of society and got stuff.
Also there was a lumber operation nearby, that could explain the wood maybe.

I have trouble enjoying most shows for the same type reasons you listed.
