Non teachers have no clue. In Mississippi the tests are not easy. All testing amounts to is politicians getting pockets greased from testing companies. The cut levels keep getting moved every year (moving target) new tests every couple years .... it is bullshite. Kids don’t care anymore and makes schools look bad . My age all we had was a FLE TEST and we all turned out ok

I think most of the OT wouldn't not score advanced on a common 6th grade LEAP test

I'm a teacher (though not currently in the classroom) and I'm not the one who needs a clue.

Teaching is really tough today, much tougher than it was a generation ago. But the biggest problem is discipline, and the second biggest problem is all the hoops teachers have to jump through and all the stupid paperwork they have to do.

Actually teaching the curriculum that is supposed to be taught isn't a burden unless you get kids who are already way behind when they get to your class, and that's not the fault of the curriculum or the standardized test.
