re: Lawyers in: Practice what you really enjoy or what makes you money?

i typically enjoy what i do now. i get to help people and explain to them how my competition over charges them. they really appreciate it (i joke sometimes that i could form a cult one day). i made this choice a few years back and left a LOT of money on the table. i do sometimes wish i had the money, but it's not a certainty that i'd still be alive (or at least living without a substance abuse problem)
