Don't players already run the show for the most part?
You've had "player friendly" coaches have success in the league beforehand. You don't have to have the I'm a hardass 24/7 mentality to gain respect or have success in the league.

Not worried as much about players respecting him as much as I am to see how committed he really is as a coach. NFL dudes are wired different, end up working at the office for like 15 hours a day and shite. Not sure if Kliff is really about that life given how much he likes the off field activities.
We’ll see. People will lose respect for him if he’s not trying to outwork everyone in the league.
