Biggest hint is check river levels before you go. That time of year week to week can change where you can float. Tube jigs and rebel crawfish. You cold even run over to the spring river and do a little more technical but still easy float and catch trout as well. IF they finish bleeding off the lake and water levels go back down a run over to the Norfork River can pay off big for trout. Take him to dry run creek and he has a great chance at huge trout.

Boc (buffalo outdoor center) in Ponca has nice cabins, just check the water level. In late summer it gets low making it hard to canoe...
