They do. Currently it is in autodraft since my wife created it back when we found out about the loan. Right now they just send a statement every month for the recurring Echeck payment. I guess I would need to stop those recurring payments, delete the bank account, then send the certified check and mail to their address listed on the statement and follow up.

Maybe I am being overly concerned, I just have very little faith in a company that is getting hammered online about customer service and can barely speak English when you call them.

No, you are absolutely right to distrust companies like this. That’s why you need to make sure you do everything correctly to prevent getting screwed. Keep copies of all correspondence you send and receive. You can find form letters to send with a quick google search
