That’s why it’s off network. I don’t get on your network and I don’t go to you unless I need parts. We cut each other out of the picture.

Obvious it’s not a solution for everyone as a lot of people need to be on network to do their work, but as a field engineer with a lot of expensive test equipment, I need to be able to install what I want when I want and not be held up on updates or even installing the app I need for my equipment by your security measures. I’ll just get on a virtual machine through remote access if I need to be on network.
