Weird, black people had stable families until the Civil Rights Act and war on drugs.
Government forced equality has been awful for poor black folks.

Yup and Blacks were happy during slavery. Singing all day and stuff. Sounds like fairy tales to me. Every demographic has suffered breakdown in the nuclear family since the 1960's. It's called "no fault" divorce. That's a moral issue not a civil rights issue.
But to make some argument that Blacks had access to equal education, home ownership, and investment opportunities- the things that get people out of poverty- until the 1970's is ludicrous. I am not even going to get started with the criminal justice system. I know better than this and I'm some cracker that grew up in a trailer court.
