They were to a degree because you didn't have so many SJW's telling you that you need to apologize for being white and there wasn't any social media.

The problem with social media and texting is you remove accountability for when you pop off. It use to be face to face and you ran the chance of getting smacked in the mouth. On social media you can say suck my balls to anyone and there aren't any repercussions. So as a society we become way more trollish with shitty attitudes.
