What did New Mexico State have that Kansas didn't?

Crazy how Auburn went from lucking out and surviving against NMST in a game they should have lost to destroying a KU team who looked pretty damn good against a solid Northeastern team

A 12 by their name and no history. You don't think auburn is a little more geared up for Kansas?

Kansas isn’t great this season.

But Auburn is as hot and cold as any team in the country.

When they’re hot, they could probably beat almost anyone in the country. They gave Duke all they wanted.

When they’re cold, they could lose to an NC State or South Carolina.

Kansas would have beat NMST by 20. Those teams rarely put up back to back good games.

I'm not trying to diminish a good NMSU team, but Auburn was up like 12 with a couple minutes left before a number of turnovers and a couple of freak plays (slips on the court, etc.)
